Cycle along the North Sea Cycle Route, the longest in the world, which, at 6000km in length, goes around the whole of the German North Sea region. Ride gently along through lush green meadows or right along the coastline. Enjoy a bag of freshly caught prawns in small harbour towns, take a break - unsaddle for a paddle and explore photogenic old towns.

The Elbe Cycle Route goes through one of the most beautiful and varied river landscapes in Europe, via Hamburg to Cuxhaven. For those who prefer to undertake cycling tours from a fixed base the island of Sylt, for example, offers 200 km of cycle routes - along disused railway lines or through the salt meadows in the east of the island.

Golfing from its most beautiful side: from the windy North Sea coast over the Lüneburger Heide to the undulating Weserbergland, first-class golf courses of all levels of difficulty await you in the "Golfland Niedersachsen".
