The hooves of the warm-blooded stamp through the fine sand. The coastline is as if it were made for holidays on horseback. Here, one can storm through the foam of the Baltic in a wild-romantic fashion, boldly fly through the golden fields or gently trot along the paths of the colourful fairy tale forests. There are many hundreds of kilometers of widely varying bridle paths. Stables and 250 clubs offer tours, training, professional coaching and eventful equestrian holidays full of rich experience for all the family.
The Baltic Coast Cycle Path is 452km of pure cycling fun. From Kupfermühle, near Flensburg, via Kiel, Heiligenhafen, around the Sun Island of Fehmarn, to Lübeck-Travemünde and onwards to Usedom. The Western-Pomeranian Lake Cycle Path snakes its way 607km long, from Lüneburg, via Waren (Müritz) through the lake plateau to the island of Usedom.
The international cycle path Berlin - Copenhagen promises just as much adventure. 630 green-blue cycling kilometers and a short trip over water connects the German and Danish capitals.
