Marketing for Northern Germany as a tourism destination

Deutsches Küstenland (DKL) is a marketing alliance of the five Northern German Federal Lands of Hamburg, Bremen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein and the Hanseatic City of Lübeck.

What we do

The Association exclusively promotes the Northern German region in selected source markets which promise to be markets with a large potential for the entire region. The source markets, conjointly defined with the German National Tourist Office (DZT) after a careful analysis, are presently Poland and Sweden. The major objective in these two markets is to strenghten the awareness and the interest of trade partners, media representatives and potential travelers and to contribute to an increase of bookings.
